Linnell Baughamis Resident Engagement Program Director for Settlement Housing Fund, a non-profit housing development corporation whose goal is to respond to the needs of New Yorkers. At SHF, Linnell provides on-going community development and support to families who have transitioned from homelessness and are now in semi-permanent/permanent housing environments. Additionally, Linnell has served as the Program Manager for the DREAMS YouthBuild & Young Adult Training Program, where she has provided elite services to opportunity youth from ranging socio-economic backgrounds.
To this end, Linnell has certified over 200 youths in the areas of Life Skills, Leadership development, the National Center for Construction Education and Research NCCER Construction Certification,and the OSHA-30 Construction Authorization. Linnell’s credits extend to over 10 years of professional grant writing securing programming funds totaling over $5 million dollars.
Linnell holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Certifications in Construction, OSHA safety, Trauma-Focused CBT, Social Emotional Development, and Housing Safety. Linnell enjoys working within the community to advocated for the safety and needs of her people.
